Travelling from Chiang Rai to Golen Triangle is one of Asia's two main opium producing areas. The Golden Triangle designates the confluence of the Ruka River and the Mekong River, since the term has been appropriated by the Thai tourist industry to describe the nearby border tripoint of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.

Day 01 : Upon arrival Chiang Rai -/-/-
Meet the tour guide at Chiang Rai Airport then transfer to the River for long tail boat along Kok River to Ethic minority village. Visit Long Neck village the most exotic minority where you can see how they live their lifes closely. After that, drive back to Chiang Rai city before check in at your hotel. In the evening, transfer to Chiang Rai Night Bazaar and free at your leisure.

Day 02 : Chiang Rai – Mae Sai – Golden Triangle B/L/-

Today morning drive to Mae Sai Border. This is not only the biggest border but also used as an important gateway to Tha Khi Lek, Myanmar the mystic country. (Tourist pays immigration fee 500THB / person on own) After that, continue to Golden Triangle where the three borders of Laos – Myanmar – Thailand are met. Later on, visit the Hall of Opium (grand one) where you can study how the opium were delivered from and its commercial in the old day.

Free at leisure until the time transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for flight to the next destination.
