Day 01: Arrival in Beijing (No meal)
Our professional tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in service. Stay at Ritz-Carlton Hotel or similar class.
Day 02: Beijing (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to take a Taiji course at Temple of Heaven (1 hour). And further visit this architectural masterpiece, where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign. In the afternoon, walk through the Tiananmen Square and the Gate of Heavenly Peace to enter the Forbidden City to unveil the mystery of Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty.
Day 03: Beijing (B, L)
Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less touristy section, round-way cable car included. Then the program is followed by 1-hour relaxing Chinese foot/body massage.
Day 04: Beijing / Guilin (B, L)
After breakfast, go to have a calligraphy and paper cutting course at Hutong, a type of narrow streets or alleys in the old quarters of Beijing, where you will see the original local Beijinger’s life. Transfer to fly to Guilin and stay at Shangri-la Hotel.
Day 05: Guilin / Yangshuo (B, L)
Take a boat cruise down Li River, lunch on board. Disembark at Yangshuo, and transfer to Banyan Tree Hotel, enjoy a spa treatment at hotel, enjoying a unique experience steeped in glorious relaxation.
Day 06: Yangshuo (B, L)
Early morning Taiji course by the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to try bamboo rafting at Yulong River (1-1.5 hours). After lunch at a riverside restaurant, you will be transferred back and further explore the Fuli town, steep yourself in the artistic flow of Fuli's culture with a short painting class.
Day 07: Yangshuo / Guilin / Hangzhou (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Hangzhou. Stay at Four Seasons Hotel, which offers possibly the best spa in this city, which is known for its treatment rooms with an imperial-style layout and are inspired by the design and architecture of ancient Chinese palaces.
Day 08: Hangzhou (B, L)
Private guided tour to Lingyin Temple, one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist monasteries in China. Next to the temple, go to the Feilai Peak, 209 meters (about 700 feet) tall, is a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountain around it. Visit Longjing Tea Village to see the local tea farmer’s life, and stroll at Nine Creeks area, a beautiful valley among mountains.
Day 09: Hangzhou / Shanghai (B)
Take a high speed train to Shanghai (0.5 hour). Be met at the train station of Shanghai. Transfer to your hotel – Shangri-la West Shanghai. Free afternoon, you can try the luxurious spa treatment at hotel, which is featured with a range of therapies that incorporate the ancient healing traditions of China and the Himalayas in their massage and facial therapies.
Day 10: Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the 16th-century Yu Garden, adorned with pavilions, streams and pools and explore the old town streets. Later, wander at the Bund, Shanghai’s most popular promenade. Optional evening acrobatic show at night.
Day 11: Shanghai departure (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
