Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Speed Boat to Cat ba Island. Overnight at the hotel. (L,D)
08:00 AM pick up from your hotel and drive to Hai Phong - the sea port city
After 2 hours driving from Hanoi to Hai Phong, you will embark on hydrofoil from Hai Phong to Cat Ba Island (45 minutes), check in the hotel.
Afternoon is free for relaxing and swimming at Cat Co 1 or Cat Co 2 beach. Overnight at the hotel in Cat Ba Town.
Day 2: Trekking to the forest of Cat Ba National Park. (B, L,D)
Rise early for another chance to swim or rise later and have breakfast at your leisure.
8.00 Our tour guide will lead you to start the trip from your hotel in Cat Ba. Take a
minibus or motorbike to the national park.
From 8.30-13.00, take 5 hours hike through the mountain rainforests and valleys to Frog Lake. Along the way you have a chance to see native cats, squirrels, spotted dear, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and if you're lucky, a Cat Ba Langur.
13.00 Arrive at remote Viet Hai village and meet the friendly local people who live inside the
National Park. Lunch will be served at a local house with home cooked food at Viet Hai Village.
15.00 Trekking to the Hai Quan Mountain where you can have the over view of Lan Ha Bay and
Halong Bay. Time to take photos and relax, leisure on your own.
At night, enjoy dinner and talk to discover the daily life of local people in Viet Hai Village.
Stay overnight at local people’s house (home-stay)
Day 3: Kayaking in Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. (B,L,D)
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and trek back to the harbor. The boat will transfer you from the harbor to Lan Ha Bay to visit the floating village, pearl farms, fish farms.
10:.00 the boat transfer you to Halong Bay to visit Tien Ong Cave then you will do kayaking
inside the Hang Ca Cave. This activity lasts about 2 hours to discover the Langur Rescued
Centre.
Enjoy lunch on boat with fresh seafood of Halong Bay.
Afterwards, the boat gets back to Ba Trai Dao Bay (Three Peach Bay) for swimming.
17.00 Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 4: Cat Ba – Hai Phong. Return Hanoi. (B,L)
Wake up to see the dawn on the bay and then have breakfast.
Enjoy the last swimming on the beach of Monkey Island.
11.30 AM get off the boat to Cat Ba.
Take motorbike tour (with or without driver) to go around and visit Cat Ba island.
Have lunch in a local restaurant.
4.00pm Take hydrofoil from Cat Ba to Hai Phong and drive back to Hanoi . Trip ends at your
hotel in Hanoi.
