Tam Giang Lagoon Fishing Tour

Tam Giang Lagoon is located along the beautiful and peaceful villages where three big rivers, including O Lau, Huong and Bo rivers, meet each other. The lagoon provides a livelihood, directly or indirectly to about 300,000 inhabitants of 326 villages in 31 communes around the lagoon. Joining this tour to discover the value of simple life of fishmen and farmers as well as to help them to maintain their tradition, cultures… and foster their livelihood.

TAM GIANG LAGOON FISHING TOUR will offer you a great chance to not only enjoy the amazing scenery but also interact with the local and provide you with some basic services and guide information about this area, not try to change or impact on the routine in this area. 

08:30 am: Pick up at hotel in Hue city.  You will go through villages and the beautiful landscape of Tam Giang Lagoon in this tour

 09:30 am: Arrive at Quang Ngan, the local (home-stay) house, where you can drop off your luggage, get changed and prepare for the morning activity;

- Then you will discover the village, visit a local pagoda or an old traditional house;

- This is followed by a stop at a village vegetable planting field where you can help the local farmer to water the vegetable and rice crops from a pond;

- A local guide will help you take part in the traditional process of turning raw yellow rice into white rice and provide further information about this.

12:00 am - Head back to the local house for lunch. You will be served local sea food bought at village fish market and vegetables from a local garden;

14:30 pm - Take part in fishing activities with a local sampan cruise on Tam Giang Lagoon – the  local guide will take you to visit a fish farm and a prawn farm. You will have the chance to lift up a fish trap and collect fish, crabs etc. on the lagoon.

- Return to the local house.

- Board the bike for the short drive to the unspoiled beach, planted with trees on sandy land to protect the small school.

- Swim in the blue water and relax on the quiet beach with its golden white sand.

(If the water in the sea is not warm enough then we will have the chance to relax at My An Onsen Spa Resort on the way back to the hotel).

16:00 pm:  - Depart by car for the return journey back to your hotel. Arrive at the hotel
